Dear ISSLC Member

The ISSLC has decided to award TWO travel grants for individuals submitting abstracts for the forthcoming Annual Conference of the ISSLC (NALCCON 2019) to be held at Lucknow from 14-15 December 2019:

  1. 25,000/- (in total towards travel, registration and accommodation) for ONE young investigator aged 40 years or less. Junior faculty and consultants would be eligible for this award.
  2. ONE separate Young Investigator Award with award money of Rs. 15,000/- (in total towards travel, registration and accommodation) would be given to the best research work by a fellow-in-training (candidate doing DM or equivalent).

Both of these awards will also be given the relevant merit certificates. All eligible abstracts will be judged by an independent committee/panel of judges and decision of the same will be final. The candidates whose abstracts are adjudged the best by this committee/panel will be intimated about the same during the conference and will receive the cheques for the above-mentioned amount therein. Applicants should send a 2-page CV and proof of age along with a copy of the abstract submitted to nalccon2019@gmail.com ; respiratorymedicinekgmu@gmail.com. While submitting the application, the authors should also state his/her willingness for consideration for the award. The last date of receipt of applications by email is 20th November 2019. This information is also being uploaded simultaneously on the conference website.
